Hello, I have an mp3 in an incoming email which I would like to import to the Library on my iPad so I can use it in the Alarm part of Clock.
How can I do that? (iPad 5th generation)
TIA for help!

...or alternativelty is there some other way for me to get an mp3 from my iMac (21.5-inch, 2017, running Mojave) to the Library on my iPad?

I’m not sure how it works these days, I used to do these things a few years back. But it had to be imported through a Mac. And the total duration could not be over 39 seconds. And the file format has to be m4a or m4r.

If you have apple music or itunes match, just add it into your music library on your computer and the cloud will take care of the rest. You can also manually add from itunes/music app. If the Ipad is set to manually sync media (its an option somewhere in itunes/music. Its been a while) Just drag and drop the mp3 to the ipad in itunes/music.

Are you saying that any mp3 can be used as alarm tones these days?
