You can easily import videos to your new iPad from your Sony camera and on the go use Luma Fusion to create some videos. I did all the workflow with iPAD.d

Nice! It's a shame that 150Mbit is the cap. Modern cameras have 200-400Mbit (e.g. the GH5 and X-T3).

You can’t compare apples and oranges, they have different codecs and bottom line the image results are the most important...

Lol... The HEVC and H264 codecs of the GH5 and XT3 are nothing special. If Apple would support higher bitrates it would be fine to edit them... The issue is that Apple is limiting the Mbit rate on iOS devices. That's all. :)
