Hi,

I am in the process of creating a user account for a particular website. My username is linked to my icloud email, and I am able to request a first-time-login-password to be sent to my email. Now, the problem is that as soon as the email is received it gets deleted, and I have no idea why. It happens so fast that I'm not even able to copy and paste the content in the email. So I can see the email arrive, but it disappears instantly and it's not in the junk or the trash folders. I have not created any rules or custom folders or anything. I have looked through all the preferences and mailbox behaviours etc, and there is nothing there that indicates that any messages at all should be deleted. Anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this? It is crucial that I get this to work asap.

Thanks.

Try creating an alias and see if it does the same thing.

The mail disappears on all devices (imac, iphone 4 and ipad 2). I can see it for a split second and then it's gone. This is driving me nuts. I need the mail to log in somewhere to file my decision on a job offer and it's getting instantly deleted. It has never happened before and it's beyond frustrating!

Ive been googling this and lots of others also have the same problem. I managed to fix this by closing mail and accessing icloud from my web browser. Crazy that this happens. Can have disastrous effects if you are being sent important emails youre not expecting.

Actually, I was expecting more emails to come throughout the day yesterday and nothing arrived. I really fear that those emails have been deleted. What a joke this is!
