One of my HD's just went kaput. Before I format it, I want to import my Safari bookmarks into another HD's version of Safari.

Any idea how to do it? The usual "import bookmarks" menu item doesn't seem to work.

Thanks in advance.

The bookmarks file is stored at ~/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist.

In fact, if you copy the whole Safari folder from your Library folder (your user one, not the system one), you should be OK.

If it were me, I'd copy more than Safari info, but that first file is all you need to answer your question.

Thanks, I'll try this and see if it works.
