I have a 36 page text file of all my emails I'm trying to import into Mail. There's a few thousand emails so I tried dragging and dropping but that didn't work. It'll take days to copy and paste each one individually. Any ideas i should try?

Not sure about text files, but email addresses should go in Address Book and not Mail... :)

And Address Book has an Import -> Text file... option under the File menu... ;)

My bad, I meant Address Book. When I go to Import, the only options are vCard and Ldif.... I don't see any Text File... I have Address Book 3.1.2 I wonder if newer versions have an import from text feature...

That's possible... I have Address Book 4.0.3... time to upgrade to Tiger, maybe...? ;)

i have a newer version of Address Book. 4.0.3 that has import text file.
guess an upgrade would be needed for this feature.

You could try downloading Mozilla (or maybe Thunderbird) which I think can import addresses from text files, and then export them in LDIF or vCard format...
