On macOS, it's possible to import your own music into the Music app so it gets uploaded to the cloud and becomes available on all your devices. Can you do the same on an iPad or iPhone? I'm trying to figure out if I can somehow do this but I can't seem to find any straightforward way.

I have the same question as this seems to be one of the last things that I can’t do on an iPad. I’ve got some MP3s in files but there’s no option to add them to Music, or Share them to Music.

Are there any third part apps available which could do this maybe?

IMazing afaik can do this. Some similar paid software can also do this, such as iexplorer. But those are all running on Mac. As of now I don’t remember there’s any iOS software that can modify Apple Music library’s content.
