Importing my thunderbird mail to mail.app

i've tried that Eudora mail converter, but it wont work...i just want to drop all my emails from thunderbird into mail.app. renaming the file with the .mbox extension doesnt work either.

has anyone got any ideas?

ooh, that has a script thinger attached to it...i never saw that before. how do i run that? i've never executed a python script in OSX before.

Doesn't mail just store it's stuff in mbox format? Anyway, cant you open mail, file, import, and select the mailbox?

no, it doesnt recognise them as proper mbox files
