Hi there,

I would like to import .wav or .mp3 files into GB and use them as one of the tracks.

Is there any way how to manage that ?

Cheers

easy:
Use either Quicktime (Pro) or iTunes to convert the files to AIFF. (Select AIFF encoder in iTunes Prefs, then select the file and choose "Convert to AIFF" in the menu)

Then pick up the AIFF file and drag it into the workspace of GB. It will work then! Have fun creating your "Megamix" ;)

ow do you get it to import at the correct tempo easily? When I drag it in, it slows the music down?

I don´t exactly know what you mean. Make sure that the exported AIFF file has 44.1 KHz at 16 bit. If you have another Hz count it could speed up/slow down the song (--> distort). I had no problems so far.

Hi,

thanks - I will try that right away. Hope that it works.

Cheers
