importing podcasts not on itunes list

Hello everyone,

I fairly new to this, especially ipods and itunes, so I apologize in advance if my question has already been asked and/or is stupid. I looked in the forums and couldn't find what I'm looking for, so here goes:

How do you subscribe to a podcast that is not on the iTunes list? I've seen several sites that offer podcasts that I would like to subscribe to, but I don't know how to add them onto iTunes. I have used My Yahoo to subscribe to them, but I don't know how to get them onto my ipod to listen to them later.

Am I just missing something? Is there a way to add podcasts from a non-listed site easily? Can it be added to iTunes and my ipod?

In itunes

click Advanced > subscribe to podcast.

Then type in or paste the URL for the RSS Feed containing the podcast you want to listen to
