Hello everybody,

I just bought the new iPhone 6, after a long time using my iPhone 4,

When i bought my first iPhone 4, four years ago, i jailbreaked it with iOs 4, iOs 5, i had many useful apps, but when i upgrade my iOs to 7, i didn't want to jailbreak it again as i didn't find it useful anymore.

The problem now is that, because I made a synchronisation and it saved everything when it was jailbreaked (including the jailbreaked apps), when I upgraded to Ios to 7, it transfered everyting again, including the jailbroken apps, but of course they didn't work anymore under a clean version of iOs7...

So I removed every single jailbroken app through the iPhone (just a simple remove app procedure), but when i synchronise my iphone, all the jailbroken apps that i previously removed are transfered again, so I went to itunes / iphone / app, and tried to remove from here by pressing the "delete" button on the app (from itunes)

Still... it transfers all the apps and I really don't know how to remove all of this from my itunes backup, because now my iPhone 6 (iOs 8.0.2) have a lot of apps that are not working every time i synchronise my iphone with itunes...

Is there any software that allow us to go inside the "saved data" we have done through itunes, and remove the unwanted apps from here, then the next synchronisation should be ok?

Thanks for your time

Sorry, restore as new only option. Yes, you can patch a new save with ibackupbot, but if you want to ensure there aren't any traces, you'll have to give up transferring contents from old jail broken phone.

but with the ibackupbot, it is not possible to select the specific jailbroken app and remove it for a next synchro?

a restore, that mean that i can not save all my SMS and whatsapp message from the last 4 years isn't it?

I got cancer from reading this

Now this may not be correct.
I read somewhere that your icoud backup will have no JB items.

So if you restore as a new phone and then restore from your iCloud back up (not itunes) then you will not bring back any of the JB data.

Settings from jail broken apps are indeed saved and transferred in restores. If you open ifunbox, it will still report the phone as jail broken. And if you then jailbreak the phone again and install app, settings are retained for some Cydia apps.

try iLexrat

I bet TS is speaking about his pirated App Store apps and how they got transferred to his iTunes library.

If this is indeed what is happening then you can right click on the app in tunes check the info of who is the owner and delete the apps accordingly.

Yep this is what always annoys me. So much trash left behind
