I'm sitting right on the edge of a wireless network supplied by the USAF guys out here. It's only just registering on the list of networks available to Airport, but the signal isn't strong enough to actually connect to the network.

I can't move my iMac any closer to the router, so I'm looking at an external aerial to hopefully increase the received signal and allow me to log in.

Any suggestions, please ? ( external aerial would be better, but I need to bear in mind it gets to nearly 50 degrees celcius in the day sometimes and there is a pretty much constant strong wind, so the Pringles tin idea won't work ).
