Impulse bought a m2 air for $699 but feeling remorse

So I got swept up in the huge price drops of the MacBook airs and got the base 16gb 256 model for $699 but thinking I should have just got the pro 14 m4 that is also on sale for 1399 or an open box m3pro MacBook Pro 14 that is $1375. No real reason other than I really like the space black vs. midnight and the better screen. And if I'm being honest, the thought of not having a pro laptop sort of bums me out. I like the huge savings for 699 but FOMO is driving me nuts.

If the XDR screen on the 14” is important to you, or you need any of the features on the MacBook Pro, return the M2 Air. 256GB SSD is smaller than the Pro’s 512GB, but it’s up to you if the screen and the storage are worth doubling the price.

I wouldn't feel remorse at grabbing an M2 Air for that price! Go ahead and enjoy it. If turns out to be not quite what you expected, the M5 MBPs are right around the corner and the MBA will still have plenty of value to sell, or keep as a mobile solution.

macbook pro is much bulkier and heavier. I know cause i had both. you've got a great deal, M2 and M4 are not so different, just enjoy the new computer
