So I saw the great sale Office Depot is having on the Nexus 7 so on complete impulse I picked up the 32GB version (the 16 was sold out) for $229. I have been using it for only a few minutes so far, but I wanted to get some suggestions from you all regarding accessories and Android tablet apps that I should try. I am a Nexus 4 user and I have an iPad 2 that I enjoy, but my daughter has taken control of the iPad so I needed something of my own .
I am not a gamer and I don't really care for bulky cases. I like the smart cover on the iPad. My use cases on the iPad are general media consumption, photo editing, video editing and music creation. I realize that there is probably nothing in Android that will compete with GarageBand on the iPad, but are there any hidden gems out there I should check out on the Nexus 7? I do use Google Play Music All Access, but what else is a good experience on this device? Anyone else who has "migrated" from a full size iPad to a Nexus 7 have anything to share from your experience?
