Hello,

When going thru the APPS available on the App Store,
I see many that say "In APP Purchase".

What does this mean, please ?

How do you know which Apps are free ?

Thanks,
Bob

If it says "in app purchase", it's probably either:
- a demo version that runs for a while, then you have to pay
or
- software which runs free, but requires payment to unlock additional features.

If it's truly "free", I'm thinking you should just see a "get" button and nothing about "in app purchase" at all...

Usually, it says 'in app purchases' at the top of the page and if you scroll down you'll see it again with 'Yes' underneath and if you click on the arrow it'll tell you what they are.
It might be extra features, pro version, a monthly or yearly subscription.....
Normally that will cover it but if not a trip to the webpage should answer all questions.
If you have to pay for an app it'll have a price right at the top and if not it'll have a free version that may rely on advertising or have a limited trial period or be a limited function version
