in browser games,explain to me

i came across an in browser 3rd person shooter game at instantaction.com and wonderd how they allow you to play this game that uses ur cpu and gpu when you only have to install this 356kb or so file on ur computer. and the graphics are pretty cool for being in browser.

i know quakelive and battlefield heroes is doing this,whenever they get released.

edit,these games are kinda choppy on a mb

Ya, pretty douchy.

Anyways, i checked out this instantaction site, and tried a couple of their games, and for free 3d games, they are pretty impressive...they offer some quick gameplay for free, good for a time killer games etc. And its multiplayer. Cool
