In design library ?

when you use the new library feature it saves it to the desktop. where should it be filed away? in the job folder or in some folder in InDesign??? many thanks!

I keep it in a separate folder with a bunch of other random documents I have kept, including color palettes I have created and miscellaneous stuff. I guess if I were only using the library for one particular job, I would keep it in the job folder, but because I use it for every job I work on, I keep it in a separate location.

yes it was. so you leave it in a folder on your desktop??

I have it in my Documents folder somewhere, but you can keep it wherever you would like. Just remember where it is, or give it a useful name, so that you can find it in the future if you ever need to.

It does not go along with jobs that you have packaged for print or otherwise exported.
