Hi all

i bought some new Bluetooth in ear headsets and work great apart from one thing. when I have my wireless iem In my ears and using my iPhone and I am not listening to anything and I get an alert it blows my ear drums out. I have tried turning down the volume but that does not work as they seem to reset or make other things quieter.

The only way this works correctly is if I am playing music and I get an alert when i am busy using my iPhone the alert is a sensible sound level but soon as I stop any type of playback the alerts go back to full on heart blow your ear drums out.

is there a way to fix this as I am surprised that apple mist this problem as it can damage your hearing. either I am missing an option or this is a bug as I never had this problem with wired headsets And seems to be a Bluetooth problem.

I am sure there was a option if you where using your iPhone the alerts would be greatly reduced as your already looking at the screen.

any help would be great. thanks.

I assume these aren't AirPods? If they're not, contact whoever manufactured them and ask how to control notification volume for the headset. Not sure why you'd think Apple is responsible for something they didn't make and how it interacts with its products
