I had done a backup of my Macbook pro 15-in 2016-late to an external HDD with Time Machine.

after reset

send to Mac Service for Fan change

Now returned and did a full Restore

Now I wanted to back up from the point left before Reset

In my case, After a Time Machine full restore, should backup normally like the last backup?????
And, this should be an Incremental backup?

I recently did exactly that, and yes, that was my experience.

(The initial restore I did via Ethernet to the Mac as my ageing Time Capsule now requires a wired connection to the router.)

so,
you have done backup, normally, after A FULL RESTORE, and was an incremental backup... correct?

After the restore, yes. It didn't do a full backup again.

The only anomaly I noticed was needing to re-authorise user accounts and some apps.
