So I got the whole quickpwn app working....I was at the step where the iPhone was supposed to reboot and turn on with the phone jailbroken, however, I let it was reboot for about 45 minutes and nothing. Then I left it "rebooting" from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. and when I checked it in the morning it was still on the booting up pineapple screen. I'm gonna restore it unless I can get it to actually work. What'd I do wrong?

Thanks for the help

Just go over the process again carefully. Maybe you have the wrong ispw file or just maybe it was just a bad jailbreak. Im sure you will get it eventually.

Mine had the same problem. I used QuickPwn the first time but gave it up and used Pwnage Tool. Pwnage Tool, IMO, is a much better application. Give it a try. The problem I had with mine was that I couldn't get iTunes to recognize that there was an iPhone in Recovery Mode connected. If you have this problem we can and will help you fix it. Just let us know.

So where do you download pwnage tool, I've seen screenshots and see that there's tons of complicated thing to do, and that there is also a simple mode. What route should I take, and do you have a link to either quickpwn, pwnagetool, or the .ipsw file? Cause I'm afraid in my trolling around the Internet that I possibly grabbed the wrong thing/ bad file. I know deb team has official links, but my rather old xp computer can't open torrent files.... Sorry for all the questions.
Thanks for everyone's continuing help
