So, I started out with a iPad Pro 11” 64GB cellular model that was great, but I kept running out of space! I loved that iPad though, I did sell it and It has since moved on to a new owner. Last week, I purchased a 12.9 iPad Pro 1TB, the seller on eBay backed out of the deal unfortunately and he decided to keep it. I was left back to searching for a good deal. I wanted the 6GB of ram for silly reasons, and the 1024GB of storage space so I could put all of my cloud photos from numerous servers on a single device, at the tip of my finger tips without needing to download them, or worry with managing storage space.

Last night I was lucky enough to find a “Sealed” iPad Pro 1TB 3rd gen 11” unlocked in silver for $1,329!

After missing numerous deals, and having sellers back out, I had stated over and over on this forum that I was getting a iPad Pro 1TB model. So, it’ll be here very shortly and my wish has finally come true!

I went ahead and ordered a generic magnetic smart folio, and a well reviewed glass 9H screen protector from Amazon.

Well, that was a scary pic. I'm a huge fan of tempered glass matte screen protectors. They may mute the colors/brightness a little, but it's all about not seeing reflections too much!

Please update us on your glass screen protector. I have the third gen 12.9 and am still having touch issues with every glass screen proctor I’ve tried. There’s several threads abound it here on MR. I’m baffled. Oh and congrats on the iPad.

After dealing with touch issues on previous iPads pro 11” models without a screen protector at all, I hope I do get good touch responsiveness having one on it.

It does seem to be hit or miss with screen protectors.

That mug shot will need atleast 2tb of free space

That’s just the natural expression one makes, when a 1TB/6GB iPad Pro is on the way haha!

After getting a cancellation of the last order, or losing auctions. Seeing this one actually shipped, I had to capture the moment lol

After spending what I did for my MBP, I can't imagine spending over $1k for another Apple product. OK, my Xs Max 512 GB... Apple has more than enough of my money. I am very happy with my 2018 iPad 9.7. If I was a rich old bastard (not saying anyone who has an iPad Pro is) - then maybe I'd have an iPad Pro.

But count me in for the 1TB envy. I love having space. My first computer was a 200mb partition Windows 98. I had to delete text files to survive. I spent 3 years with a 128GB MacBook Air. Now with a 1TB MBP, I'm set for a long, long time.

May your 1TB iPad serve you well. I'm happy for you and a bit jealous. My 128GB 2018 iPad is serving me very very well. :)

Yea I’m Definitely not rich. I wish though. I’m always searching for a bargain though when I’m in the market for something. The original iPad Pro 64GB 3rd gen 11” was a large expense intended to be a long term item to keep. I just wasn’t satisfied with such a powerful device, and feeling like my storage space is gimped.

The 1TB version was a huge expense for a iPad lol. But, I plan to keep it a while and use it frequently.

The XS Max 512GB cost the same I think though? Lol I looked, considered buying one of those.

But, I can’t afford both! It was one or the other. My iPhone SE is still going strong.

I’m by no means rich, but I knew I wanted a 1TB iPad Pro. I had gotten the original 12.9, but wanted the increased storage ( and a newer design if possible) as well. So I literally waited until one that I wanted and saved that entire time. If you know Apple if you want something it isn’t coming anytime soon. They want you to settle for whatever until they finally actually deliver what you want, so you are making multiple purchases. Since it was a couple of years between iPads I was ready to buy when the reveal was made. I’ll be sticking to that game plan for future purchases as well.

My new IPad Pro 1TB has finally arrived! This screen protector works great so far. The case is a perfect replica of the Apple smart folio for about 1/3rd the price.

Very happy with this setup!

It is nearly impossible to keep the screen perfectly lint free while applying the screen protector, but I did manage to do it while keeping it perfectly aligned too. I think installing it plays a huge role in proper touch response.

Absolutely no touch issues guys and gals! I was going in to this expecting some sort of touch problems after applying the glass screen protector to this brand new iPad Pro 1TB.

It works flawless!

I did install it directly after removing the factory plastic protective layer on the iPad straight out of the box.

And I installed it outside in direct sun light, so I could continuously wipe tiny lint particles away.

It was very tedious, but it actually works perfectly!

Mine worked great too for 2 weeks.....touch issues now.

Technically this is my 3rd 11” iPad Pro, I’ve got a good feeling about this one. It’s nice being able to type and not go back and fix errors. And I’m using a screen protector on top of it. I’m hoping it stays like this. I really do not want to exchange my perfect 1TB retail unit for something else. My fingers are crossed!

I honestly hope your new iPad ‘continues’ to function normally, however, as you know, the screen problems begin to slowly creep in over time regardless if you have a screen protector on or not, that’s where the ‘my screen protector worked great, at first’ and ‘my new iPad worked great, at first’ comments are coming from.

OP got an update? 1TB seems excessive. I have 30k photos and plenty of 4K video on my devices, and I have yet to fill 256gb.

256 is the sweet spot. I may need 512 on my next iPhone though due to the 4K videos I've been taking with the XS Max.
