in safe mode and caps lock key doesnt work

this morning suddenly my macbook air is in safe mode and the caps lock key doesnt work and always in capital letter. The number key doesnt work also. anyone can help me

Uh, sorry to hear that.
I would try to get rid of the caps lock to be able to work with the computer, until this issue is repaired. To disable the caps lock key go to system pref -> keyboard and mouse -> keyboard -> special keys button below -> disable caps lock. Done.
Had to translate from a German OS, hope you'll find it alright.
