I downloaded the Gmail app from iTunes a while ago. Afters weeks of deleting emails, my trash bin has been filled up like crazy. I wanted to empty the trash all at once but I have to select each one separately then click delete. That takes forever. Is there a way to select all emails at once and delete them? Just delete all with one click? If I go on Gmail on Chrome or even on my old Android phone it gives me the option to delete everything, it checkmarks every email for you then you just hit delete. I don't see any select-all button on this iOS Gmail app.

Thanks.

They get deleted automatically after a month anyway.

Don't know about iOS but on Android there is a 'Empty Trash' menu setting available when your viewing that trash.

Exactly. Why the iOS Gmail doesn't have it is beyond me. Unless I'm missing something here. You seriously have to individually select each email you want do delete for good

Yup you sure do and I hate it with a passion. Basically you have to login into your google mail account on line to delete everything at once using their interface.

[doublepost=1469709223][/doublepost]The only other option is to set up your Gmail account on the iOS stock mail app and use it to manage trash spam... There's works perfect. Then use your Gmail app as usual for viewing and sending mail.
