Google Nexus 4 by LG
Nexus 4 was really a Top 5 Android phone released late last year but with a midrange price. It was basically a rebranded LG Optimus G (Google Play) edition. But be wary of the anemic storage space with no storage expansion, fairly weak battery life, weak glass back, and mediocre camera. Sony's current 2013 flagship, Xperia Z, is technically better with better cam, microSD slot, water resist, and FULL HD but perhaps not $150 better with bad viewing angles. And I feel the Nexus 4 feels better in the hand and looks sleeker.
Even as today, I would still put Nexus 4 in the top 10 out there with at least the One, S4, Note II, and a few others just above it because of the pure Google experience. And it will age better as those mentioned above may never get updated to Android 5.0. And if they did, it could months or even over a year while Nexus 4 already had its taste of pie. But get a case for it. If you can wait 2.5 months longer, I suggest wait for the Nexus 5 or refresh of the 4. N4 is almost 10 months old.
Moto X doesnt have a midrange price. Specs that might only be slightly better and customizations but worth $230 more?
