Inbound Calls on Skype

Seeing how the iPad doesn't yet support multitasking how does Skype handle inboud calls?

Do you have to have it running in the foreground all of the time to get a call when it comes in?

For now, yes, Skype has to be open to receive calls. When OS 4 arrives (it comes to the iPhone & iPod touch this summer, and to the iPad in the fall), it will include multi-tasking support. One of the multi-tasking features is for VoIP apps like Skype.

I guess we will all have to wait then. Any indications on to whether skype will work on the iPad using a 3G connection?
