Apple store in Soho (new york city) has incase sleeves in stock finally. Picked up a black one yesterday. So probably alot of Apple stores have them instock.

They also have the light blue. They had about 5-7 of each one left.

Did you get the neoprene sleeve or the nylon one? Was wondering about how snug the Macbook is in either of them. I've read that the neoprene doesn't fit as snug as it should.

I've got a black one for my MBP 15", and it is not very snug at all. Lenth-wise it seems pretty good, but width-wise, it has a lot more play than I would like.

It is Neoprene , and fits snug. since it is made for the 13... That is why it took longer for it to be released. some of the ones for the macbook pro were made for the Powerbook.

I took some pictures.

i have that exact case for my 15" powerbook, and while i like it a lot, it doesn't fit snug at all, there is like an inch of space left at the top.

I had bought both of the cases ( the neoprene and the nylon ) and while the nylon technically fit much better for my powerbook, it did not fit inside the bag i was using ( almost nothing fits in it lol, but for a temp. solution, the neoprene works. )

that being said, i like the quality of the case, and i feel comfortable in putting my powerbook in it daily. ( for now, until i get my messenger bag solution for school )

Would you be so kind as to post a pic of the whole thing? Thanks!

I have this one... But it is a perfect fit for a Macbook.

When i had a Macbook Pro i was using my Powerbook case and it wasnt a perfect fit. Alot of companies just sold old Powerbook cases as macbook pro cases.

this is true, only it doesnt fit the powerbook perfect either because it's designed for the 15" PB / 15" MBP / 14" iBook

how hard would it have been to just make one exclusively for each model? id rather have one that fits perfect than one that fits multiple computers.

They might have them now. But companies that made the cases were not told ahead of time, they found out about the size of the laptops when we found out.

I don't think they do yet ( at least not in store ) I just bought mine like.. 2 weeks ago. On the packaging it said "For Apple Macbook Pro 15.4" / Powerbook G4 15.2" / iBook G4 14" "

at any-rate, i plan on getting a Tom Bihn "Brain Cell" for my powerbook, and using it in a full sized messenger bag ( probably a Chrome " Civilian " ) for school.

ahh i like that one! I love STM products, i should have just looked online before getting the incase, that rebound one is like exactly what i was looking for.

Rebound case: How do you carry it?

I like how you can use the MacBook without removing it from the Rebound. One or two other cases allow this, but they're not nearly as protective.

But how do you carry the Rebound? Does it have a handle?
