While finding cases for the 12.9” IPP first generation was difficult (compared to the 9.7” the case selection was abysmal and if a company did have one, they had many colours and designs for the 9.7” IPP and usually just plain black for the 12.9”) now it seems with second generation that more companies are making for the 12.9”. Enter Incipio.

I found matching cases for my iPad Pro and iPhone 7 Plus. Spring floral. The IPP Case has a smart cover built in and floral design on the back. The iPhone case is the same as the IPP case back only. On their site they made it sound like they were hard cases. Nope they are squishy silicone and while they look good now, I know that any and I mean ANY clear silicone case within a few months looks terrible with yellowing!!!! This design is basically clear silicone with a printed design in it of Flowers. So the flowers are not see through but the spaces around them are. I was really hoping for a hard plastic case as they don’t yellow so fast.

Another issue is the way the cover turns into a stand. It looks way better and more stable than the triple fold of the Apple one. It folds in the middle and there is a little rubber tab on the back that it fits into to hold it. So it gives support higher up unlike the Apple cover. And it is more stable....but maybe because it’s new I don’t know... it kind of doesn’t bend enough at the bottom so it’s a bit wobbly... like the bent part that’s now supposed to be the base of the stand is not laying quite flat. Maybe it will fix over time??

Anyway the cases look awesome if nothing else and the IPP case has 4 sides protection even though it has a built in Smart Cover unlike most which seem to leave he left side unprotected.
