Hey guys,

I got an iPhone 3G yesterday (Saturday) and it seems like the left earbud speaker on the included set of headphones does not work.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I know it's a problem with the headphones, and not the iPhone itself because I've tried two other headphones (from an ipod) and they play in stereo.

Thanks for any help/suggestions you can offer.
I've got an appointment at the Genius Bar tomorrow afternoon... hopefully they'll just be able to give me working set!

You want mine? I'd be happy to give them to you; I haven't even taken them out of the box. I'm in Long Beach, and we could meet somewhere between LAX and Fountain Valley.

Other than that, I'd suggest going to the Apple Store. ;)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A347 Safari/525.20)

the geniuses are just handing out new iphone headphones if cracked or malfunctioning, no questions asked even for me!

The clicker on my earbuds has gone bad. I went to the AT&T store where I got the phone to get a replacement set and they wont do it. Going to try and get a replacement set through the mail with Apple I guess.

If you have the warrany, you can just ask an Apple employee and replace it for free. Just bring the iPhone box and receipt to prove that you have an iPhone.
