Incoming call bug since iOS 14

After iOS 14 (since verison 14.0) I observing weird behavior of incoming calls. And I mean full screen calls, not that banner one.
Normally I expect answer slider when I put out my phone from pocket (because its locked), but half of the time when I answering calls I don't see answer slider, but only buttons (attaching screenshot).
I don't know why and if its possible to disable it - I want have slider every time.
Anyone mentioned same issue?

I have the buttons most of the time also. There isn't a way to disable it as far as I know..

If the phone is unlocked you'll get buttons. If the phone is locked, you'll get the slider. You can't change the action. The slider when locked helps prevent to call being answered by an inadvertent touch of the button when the phone is locked. I don't remember it being any other way.

Your phone is most likely unlocked by that 14.5+ Apple Watch unlock thing when it’s in your pocket. Do you have that enabled?

It happens before Apple Watch unlock feature was released. And yes I use it.
I can understand this behavior when I have my phone on desk so I don't need slider. But when my phone is in the pocket?
May be this is some beta stuff that persist in my profile? But I already change phones.

Yeah, this is a bug that was introduced in 14. With my phone locked, I will get either the slider or the buttons when a call comes in, with no rhyme or reason that I can find. Sometimes it’s the slider, sometimes it’s the buttons. I don’t have an Apple Watch, so it’s likely nothing to do with that.

14 introduced the incoming call banner for when the phone is UNlocked, and my guess is that in the course of implementing that feature, something got bugged that causes this. Nothing to lose sleep over in my opinion, as answering or declining calls works either way. Like many other small bugs like this, they’ll fix it eventually! 🙃

Ok, so I will try to disable incomming call banner if that change something .

I’ve also had this bug. Phone is locked no where near Face ID range & I’ll get the buttons instead of the slider.

But when phone is unlocked & being used, & you tap the incoming call banner I’ll get the slide to answer screen 🤦🏻‍♂️

Can someone confirm that this bug is also in iOS 15 betas or it's finaly fixed?
