Hey guys, I remember reading about how to change this before but can't seem to find the topic. When I receive a incoming call sometimes I get a full screen display picture of that contact but sometimes it's a small picture. I prefer the small version, does anyone know how to amend this?

Thanks in advance

I remember it had to do with something about adding the contact picture from your phone vs adding the contact picture from a computer? I don't remember which one made the larger photo appear.

All i remember is that when syncing my contacts, if the picture is with my google contacts its the small icon and if its with iCloud contacts I can go either large or small. Not sure how to manually choose the size but within Sync Me app it gives you the option of large or small photo so there has to be a way to choose

Adding the picture from your phone makes the contact picture large.

Used to be when syncing with Google will convert your photo to small size. But I think with the new iOS 8 (or is it 9?), this limitation have been removed. Now, adding photo from phone will be big size.

Using the icloud.com website, I have added photos to several of my contacts, using cropped photos of them, with dimensions 700x700 pixels. Incoming calls from them always show the small circle instead of the full screen photo.

Even if you already have a photo in contacts you can just select to edit it then move it a touch back and forth then save. It will then be full screen.
Why this has to be such a workaround confuses me.
Why Apple took fullscreen photos on incoming calls out in iOS7 still confuses me. Yeah, users were just screaming to just have a little circle to look at when they got a call.
