Wohooo! Finally got my money refunded. At first I ordered a "mediocre" MacBook (white, 1.83 GHz, 1 GB memory, 80 GB 5400 RPM) for $1560, but I cancelled the order and ordered a white 1.83 GHz MacBook, 2 GB A-Data memory (from E-Bay), a 60 GB 5400 RPM harddrive (with hopes of upgrading in a month or so), a wired Apple Keyboard, and a Miglia TVmini DVB-T adapter. I hope I made the right choice. So many different MacBook configurations!

The new order will cost me ~$1660, but it's worth it! I hope.

Sorry for posting this, just a little too happy :).

Meh, Ordered mine late night friday from amazon (uk), completely forgetting about Bank Holiday monday. Once monday came and went without the dispatch i got all excited knowing it would dispatch on Tuesday (today) and when it didn't...well you can imagine :/

Looking back i should have waited untill today before i placed my order, since ordering on friday i knew the order wouldn't even get processed till today at the very earliest, but i've still been waiting knowing my order is sat there waiting to be printed off and sent out.

Anyway sorry for raining on your parade :D not buying the RAM from Apple was a wise choice since its excessively expensive. Hope you enjoy it when it arrives :D

Are you a current mac user or will this be your first?

and how could he not enjoy it?

It could have one, or more of the many problems i keep reading about on practically every mac related forum?

I'll be gutted if mine has any serious issues when it arrives :/
