Hi,

I’ve started to pay attention to the case light in order to know when I need to plug it.

In theory, the light gives the AirPods charge status when they are in the case, or the case status when the case is empty. But It appeared not to be so simple.

If both AirPods are in the case, when I remove the first one, the light indicates the AirPods status (that’s ok). But then:
  • If I remove the second one quickly enough (while the light is still on), the light turns off and on again but keeps showing the same AirPods battery status (it should be the case status).
  • If I wait for the light to turn off before removing the second AirPods, then it does give the case status.
It is the same when putting the first AirPods in an empty case. More than that, i noticed last night a similar issue when I closed the case that was empty and it sill gave the AirPods status (could not reproduce it though).

Has anyone noticed similar behaviors? Should it be considered as a bug?

Tested with AirPods = 91% battery (orange light) and case = 67% (green light)

Thank you for the link, but I’ve read this page already, and it doesn’t address my issue.
