I have three kids. For two out of the three, the screen time requests come via iMessage to both my wife and I without issue. But for the third, they never pop up at all - in iMessage or an alert like they used to. It's there, b/c I can go to the family / screen time area for this kid and see it and approve it. But that's significantly more hassle (#firstworldproblem) than the convenient iMessage pop-up.
