On view options I checked show item info, and I actually like this look a little better. But the info is incorrect, I have a 500 Gb HD partitioned to 430 for OS X and 70 for Win7. And that is exactly what it shows on the desktop, not the correct amount of free space, but the maximum capacity of the drive. I read one post that said to simply drag something into the drive, and it would re-register with the correct amount of space, tried it and needless to say it didn't work. So does anyone know how to make this work? I posted a screen to show you what I mean, but the image is so small I don't know if you will be able to see what I am talking about, so hopefully someone can help me or tell me how to upload a larger pic, without the 1 MB size limit kicking in.

As for the screen shot why don't you zoom in on that part of the screen a bit before taking the shot? What is it control then zoom in with the mouse?
yes, see the ... that is indicating that part of the tag is missing due to space restrictons. You can make the icons bigger and that will help but who wants big old goofy icons?
You can fix this while leaving the icons small by increasing the "Grid Spacing" under the same View Options tab that you were working in to the maximum Grid and that will give you the room you need to see the full tag
