Something weird which I spotted in the public beta of iOS 13 (and something I reported to Apple through the Feedback app) is where a phone number is malformed and as such when in the Messages app, none of your contacts have their names, it's just numbers instead.
I'm in the UK so phone numbers are in the format of 07000 000 000.
If I look at a contacts phone number I have saved, the phone number is stored as 07 000 00 00 00. So when I go to Messages, even if I have a number saved, it doesn't recognise it.
I have to edit the number for the contact and change it to use the country code for the UK minus the first zero then the usual format: +44 7000 000 000.
Does anyone else know what I mean and has experienced this?
Before iOS 13, you could use the +44 country code or just have a leading 0 interchangeably. This seems to have changed and it's super annoying.
