Incorrect Sim ..

Hi ... Recently i purchased an 8gb Iphone with firmware 1.1.1 on it .. I followed the instructions and i downgraded my phone to version 1.0.2 ... I jailbreaked it activated it with independece but i can't unlock it ... I put my own sim card in it I get a "sim locked" message, and when I put my pin to unlock it, my iPhone says that my sim card is incorrect .. I did all the steps from modmyiphone if it helps .. Can anyone help me ?? Tnx
