I'm not sure how to accurately describe this problem... I upgraded my iPad3 to IOS9 yesterday. It seems pretty snappy, which is nice. But there's one site (Slate.com) I have a problem with. It looks like the pages on the site shrink to the point of being unreadable. When a page is first displayed, it's OK. But a few seconds later, it starts shrinking. It's like the page width gets doubled with blank space on the right. And it keeps repeating, over and over, until the page is compressed against the left margin, and is tiny tiny tiny, to the point that it can't be read.

I figure this is a problem with the site itself... but has anyone else seen this?

Tonight I went to a site on my iPhone 6+ (after updating to iOS9) that I have visited many times and very recently as well. When it loaded it then went split screen with all the text to the left. On the right it was mostly blank down the length but there was "log in" and other tabs. Upon scrolling down towards the bottom I found an ad that spanned the entire width of the site (and my phone). My husband thinks it could be something to do with the site's set up and not working well with the new OS. The site used that block of lines icon at the top (sorry can't recall what this was called but you touch it and it expands the list of options downward).

I wonder if these are similar situations. On a 6+ I was able to read the text but not very comfortably and will probably not having me visit often until it gets fixed assuming it's at their end. On a smaller screen phone it would probably be near impossible to read normally.

It doesn't happen on my 6+, at least not that I've seen so far. I think the sites that do this aren't handling their adserving correctly, and their responsive or fluid design goes haywire. But it's the site which needs to change. It's not a pervasive problem with IOS9.
