iNdependence help

I'm running an 8Gb iPhone with 1.1.3 firmware updated through iTunes. I've activated, jailbroken and unlocked using iJailbreak 0.5.3 every time I try to plug the phone in and connect to iNdependence 1.4 beta 2 it says my phone is still jailed. I know it isn't as installer works ok so whats gone wrong?

I believe it is because of the way the iphone was jailbreaked - as far as I know ZiPhone JB'd phones do not show up as jailbreaked in Independence - what method did you use to JB?

Eitherway it doesn't matter as it is jailbreaked although you won't be able to use the programme features on independence if it doesn't see it as JB!
