The Swedish Technical Research Institute tested nine popular laptops for durability, battery life and display quality. The goal was to test things that consumers impossibly can know from the specifications alone. Only the macbook survived the durability test without any comment. This included a vibration test, bump test from three heights and a combination test which included bump and vibration together. Vibration test was done at 30G, the bump test at 75G, 160G and 250G with three bumps at each level.

The battery test used 3DMark 06 för pc and Cinebench 9.5 för Mac. The macbook won at 3hours while the fujitsu stopped at 66minutes.

The display test measured reflections on the surface as well as the so-called sheen factor of the display using BYK gardner. The macbook did well, but Toshiba and Lenovo were ahead of it.

This is just a quick synopsis. Thought it was interesting.

I don't suppose they have an english translation, for those of unfortunate enough, or too danged lazy, to not speak that language?

That's what I was trying to provide! At least a partial translation with the highlights...
