Hi,

When printing from InDesign CS3, is it possible to have the printer driver handle color management rather than the application?

I haven't really been able to find an answer to this.

Thanks!

It's called ColorSync and it's been a part of the MacOS since 1915.

With a Postscript 3 compatible printer yes. You can set the InDesign Print dialog box to let the printer manage color.

With a non-postscript printer you can specify an icc profile for your printer and paper but InDesign manages color.

I see. That's kind of what I thought.

Thanks for the info!:)
