When I input a specific coordinate for X or Y in indesign. Say I put 1 inch for the x-axis. InDesign will for some reason change it to read .99999999 inches. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thank you

let me guess... you are using an intel Mac? Well, i have a MBP and have the same problem. Let's say i want to start a new document that is say 8.5 x11? If i type that in, it changes to 8.4999999 x 11. For some reason, the 11 usually stays, but other numbers change like that too. As far as i know it's a macintel problem.

I am on an intel mac. If thats the case its really strange. Don't suppose thier is anything that'd fix it. I guess its not a huge issue, more of an annoyance. If anyone else has a suggestion that'd be great.
