Hi All,

I'm looking for a plugin for indesign cs4, and was hoping someone knew of, or uses something like it.

I'm working on a layout and would like to call out measurements between certain points in the document by simply drawing a line from point A to point B, and have it automatically display the length/distance between the two points. I know i could just look up at the toolbar and manually type in my measurements, but I remember downloading one for cs3, but I can't seem to remember the name.

Hope that made sense. Let me know if y'all need screenshots or something.

Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

No need for a plug-in.

It's already there. The shortcut is K... or you can find it in the tool palette at the same place of the eyedropper (click on it and you will see the other choice appears)

It works as you describe it. click and drag from point A to B, use Shift for a straight parallel line.

Thanks for the tip! However, I probably should have mentioned, I'd like this measurement to print as part of the artwork so the client (and I) can see the measurements. :)
