anybody know how to use this program? I need some help because I have no clue and I'm trying to get an internship for a graphic artist and they use photoshop along with InDesign. I need to make a 16 foot long by 8 foot high billboard ad and I don't know the feet to picas conversion. I know photoshop very well though.

It would take waaaay too long to explain how to use InDesign, but you can change the measurement units in the preferences palette. Either that, or use Google to convert the units to picas.

An explanation or link to a tutorial would be nice though. Although I have several years of experience with photoshop, I am completely and utterly lost in InDesign .

Really!? I was in the same boat as you last year for my Graphics A Level, but mastered it quickly.
What exactly do you need to do? I think that will be the easiest way to explain . . .

EDIT: Googled "inDesign tutorials" and it brought up a couple of Adobe sites.

I need to make a 16 foot long by 8 foot high billboard for an advertisement that makes people want to get eggs now.

You can either change the units to inches or you cna just enter the values you want into the fields like this:

2.375" (with the quotation mark)

When you do this InDesign will change the number to the proper number of picas.
