I'm trying to export a ~30 page InDesign file into a PDF for web view. There are a lot of eps and 300dpi jpeg's inside the InDesign file. I was wondering what the best way would be to compress the thing to be as small as possible for download. With default settings (smallest file size) and JPEG set to medium and 72dpi, the file ends up being 12megs, and I was wondering if there's a way to make it even smaller without losing much of JPEG's image quality.
I also outlined several parts of text (when I made the eps files in Illustrator), and I'm having slight display issues with several of them. Some of the I's and l's come out really thick compared to the rest of the letters. When I zoom in past 250%, they usually look normal in width in comparison to other letters.
