Is there a way to take a text box and say, "Hey! I don't want any style sheet to apply to you, EVER!" It displays right, but I get that pink background and it's bugging the hell out of me.

Sorry. I would look it up in the help file, but I'm at school and Adobe Help Center keeps crashing.
 
Huh. It was definitely the right font, so it must have been a bug or something keeping it pink. Thanks for your help.
 
To be sure that you are not missing a font. Go the the type menu > Find Font

From here it will list every font used in your document. If you are missing a font, which I assume one of your fonts will have a yield sign next to it which means it missing.
