indesign takes over 5 minutes to open

anyone else have this? installed the beta and indesign takes at least 5 whole minutes to open.
ive never seen an app behave like that.

originally i thought its crashing as it opens, and i forced quit a few times, restarted the mac, all the same behaviour. then i got distracted, was doing something else, then at least 5 mins later, it might have been 10 minutes later, all of a sudden it opened as if there was nothing wrong.

even after subsequent uses over the last few days it always needs this 5 minutes.

So many threads about this. If you're using anything other than Adobe CC, that's likely the issue. CS6 or earlier don't even graft well with El Cap.

I've had issues in Photoshop with it randomly shutting down in Sierra so I feel your pain.

Mine hasn’t been quite that slow, but I definitely notice it seems to take 3x to 5x longer to open. I’m on the latest version of CC.
