The more I think about this, the more I feel ripped off. My guess is that Google never even approved access to their service for this application and that the developer found a way to make a quick buck before they realized what was going on. By the looks of this service its primarily used for query results to be sent to your phone via SMS and does not allow for sending text messages from phone to phone. If this is true, shame on Apple for allowing this to be approved without checking with Google to see if this was something that they approved of. This is not about the money, its more about the principal than anything else. I thought that the app approval process was in part to protect the consumer from scams like this, but apparently not.
