I made a post last week about a bug I noticed while using the Music App after I had upgraded to Sequoia. I was hoping the bug would be resolved by yesterday's 15.1 update, but it wasn't. After several calls to Apple Support finally got bumped up the food chain to a technician who not only understood what I was talking about, but was able to replicate it on his system.
For some odd reason, if I was trying to edit a song in my library by using the Info window choosing either Recently Added or Album in the Library menu in the side column, toggling "NEXT" or "PREVIOUS" arrows to get to another song would result in it going to a seemingly random song in a random album. Oddly if I used any other 'tab' to get to an album or song (Artist, Genre, a playlist) it would work as normal.
Turns out those two choices were pulling on the Songs 'tab' it would go down the list...so if you had sorting set to, oh, bitrate, it would appear to be random.
Good news is it seems to be fixed in the 15.2 update that is currently in beta. So. Yay.
