Hey, just inherited an iPad Pro 9.7" running 13.7, wondering if it would be fine to upgrade to 14.4 or if I'd experience performance issues. Don't know much about this model, seems to run 13.7 perfectly fine.

14.4 works fine on my iPad Pro 9.7.

Mine works fine also ....Apple will usually not allow an update or 'deprecate ' a machine when the time comes. This will be announced.

Just to add to the chorus... my iPad Pro 9.7 has been running 14.4 since it came out and it's been humming right along. I haven't run in to any issues with apps on it, stability, or battery. Now that my iPad sees less use (the M1 really brought me back to using laptops) I generally update it on day one of whatever comes out and just roll with the punches. I had a couple crashes early on with iOS 14, but 14.4 has been great for me.

Just updated. Seems fine. The only problem I’m havin (unrelated to the update) is I can’t seem to get the smart keyboard to work. Tried cleaning the contacts. Anyone know anything about this?

I've gone through several Smart Keyboards on the 9.7. They're not very reliable, unfortunately.

That’s a shame. The one I have is in good physical condition except for the fact that apparently it won't make a connection or something.
