I don’t understand how many people swear by AirPods. My AirPods Pro, no matter which size earpiece I use, are very insecure - they fall out whenever I move my head. Am I doing something wrong? My ear canals seem to be tapered, so no matter how deep the AirPod goes there’s nothing to hold it there.

I have this problem since forever with any kind of in-ear headphones. Especially if there is no rubber for any kind of grip. I don't understand how anyone can use such a thing and is happy with it. Also music quality is always very bad, even for the best and most expensive ones.

If they had a cable they can't get lost at least, but they also always moved so that the sound was never the same on both sides.

Mine won’t stay in with the stock Apple tips, but I use foam tips and they stay in.

Custom earpieces are the answer, get some moulded to your ears to fit the earphones of your choice.

I’ve just ordered extra-large foam earpieces from Amazon (the only ones they list). They arrive Tuesday (today is Saturday). My AirPod Pros just stopped clicking as I type. what’s up with that?

anyway, I’ll report back on how the foam earpieces work.

People swear by them because they work for us. It’s a shame they don’t for you, unless foam tips work for you I’d try a different brand next time.

I have always had a problem with the Air pod Pros, for me my ear canal is too small, I can barely wear the regular ear pods but not for a long period of time. I wish apple made various sizes. I feel that both are more tapered for a man's ear rather than a women.

Can’t stand the tips in my ear canal and have always used the non-pro models. Everyone’s ear shape is different and really hoping the AirPod 4 with ANC fits my ear. No way to know till the 20TH.

Must be a lot down to our individual ear shapes I think.

I treated myself to a pair of AirPods Pro 2 a couple of days ago and was dreading not getting them to fit, but I seem to be one of the lucky ones they suit. Comfiest and most secure earbuds I’ve ever used. Really pleased with them. :)

I have other in-ear buds where I had to use the smallest tip to get them to fit into my ears correctly. But with the APP2 I ended up getting the best fit with the largest rubber tip included in to box. Even still, the APP will fall out of my ears if I'm not careful. The earbuds that fit best for me are the B&O Beoplay EX. Unfortunately, they don't get all the fancy features Apple includes in their APP. And the noise cancellation don't work well on the Beoplays for me. But the sound is awesome.

Without something gripping your ear canals, how do they stay in?

Everyone’s ears are different. I feared the 4s with ANC would not work well or not fit. They have arrived and fit great and the ANC is awesome.
