I am interested in inserting spaces in the OS X menu bar...is there a way to do this...

I have looked at and tried MenuBar Rearranger for max but it does NOT do the trick as it does not behave well with istat 4...

Thanks in advance,

Joel

U.K
I've spent a little time checking into this and there seems to be no way. Take a look into the paid app bartender if you want some nice customizations though.

Appreciate the suggestion...I have looked at Bartender but it really does not do what I am looking for in that at present I do not have a need to move icons out of the menu but rather would like to insert a few spaces so as to group them somewhat...

Once again, thanks...

ny somewhere
i have several apps in my menu bar where i do not want to (or need to) see an icon (i prefer an uncluttered menubar on my 13" mbp).

so, for example, i have f.lux (an amazing freebie, that adjusts the display for nighttime viewing); i went into the app package (after quitting it first), and removed the resource file for the menubar...and how have a space.

you could do something like this; perhaps install some minimalist apps that have menu icons, and remove them from the package contents.

not perfect, but it would work. for me...there are spaces but for apps i actually USE>..
